In many situations where an easy characterization could offer an opportunity for uncontrollable laughter, our talented actors of the Company held elegantly far from being disastrous slips to over- coloring and waive scale lofty heights of comedy, weaving stage a valuable balance of atmosphere and emotion. Admirable interpretation of moderate Monsù Travet ( Beppe Albertino ) used model that exudes melancholy stubborn, dignified virtue, and aware of its value that considers it proper, is hidden, like a diamond in the rough, buried by the falsity of sberluccicante personaggiucoli which gl ' Moton registered employees and Rusca (the brilliant but never overflowing Sebastian Burdese and Enrico Emanuele ). Dresses with elegant clothes of arriving Madama Travet, Marina Morra, she never over the top, graceful, and convincing. Sparkling energy Onofrio Coppola in the role of baker Monsù Giachetti, in excellent agreement with his shy and awkward social Paolin
( Cristian Manzone ), perhaps the only character who lingers lightly in the caricature. Ben made by the character of the Gian Rottach Comendatur, sober and dry in his wisdom and moral rectitude, as well as the Head of Division (ottimamante starring David Cestari) scene is the personification of falsehood to the detriment of the weaker and honest .
The play, a masterpiece of Bersezio, resents the time (but not a defect), mainly for the human characteristics of the protagonist, whose sense the 'dignity' is now largely lost today. But the shades of life dashed by the other characters, differs little from many current realities. On the direction, leaving out the refined elegance with the nuances of the past. In
audience laugh, think, reflect, and we applaud. The excellent performance (see here all pictures of the scene the night of 30 oct.) closed the 2010 edition of the Festival Theatre in Piedmontese language.
